Lagu ini, bener-bener luar biasa menurut gue.

Mengisahkan tentang seorang pria yg kesepian dan terlalu lelah. Dia rindu bgt sama gadis yg paling dia sayang. Dulu pria ini pergi meninggalkan si gadis. Sekarang dia menyesali perbuatannya dan rindu sama gadis itu. tapi semua udah terlambat. gadis itu udah pergi jauh. udah nggak ada di dekat pria ini.

Jadi pria ini minta sama Tuhan untuk selalu ngejagain gadis yang ia sayangin dimanapun gadis itu berada. karena pria itu udah nggak ada di deket gadis itu lagi, dan sebetulnya dia berharap banget bisa di samping gadis itu lagi. Tapi, yah memang semua terlanjur terlambat.

Ceritanya sederhana, tapi lagu ini punya jiwa. di saat gue denger musiknya, suara si penyanyi, dan liriknya merindinglah gue. gue ngga berlebihan, ini faktanya dan pendapat gue apa adanya. memang gue suka sama lagu ini.

gue paling suka pas bagian liriknya yang ini:

"While I recall all the words you spoke to me. can't help but wish that I was there" (ketika itu aku mengenang setiap kata-kata yang telah kau ucapkan padaku. Hal itu tidak bisa menolongku, tetapi aku berharap saat itu aku berada di sana.)

"Dear God the only thing I ask of you is
to hold her when I'm not around
when I'm much too far away" (Ya Tuhan, hanya satu hal yang aku pinta dariMu. Jagalah dia ketika aku tidak ada di sana. ketika aku terlalu jauh darinya.)

And now I wish I'd stayed" (Aku meninggalkannya ketika aku menemukannya. dan sekarang aku berharap dulu aku tetap berada bersamanya.)

Pictures and some memories will have to help me through, oh yeah" (Tidak bisa menolong, tetapi berpikir setiap waktu yang pernah aku miliki bersamamu. foto-foto dan beberapa kenangan akan menolongku melewatinya, oh yeah)

(aku menemukanmu, sesuatu memberitahuku untuk bertahan. aku menyerah, jalan yang sangat egois. dan sekarang betapa aku merindukan seseorang untuk ku dekap ketika harapan mulai menghilang)
